New set...TDR set sold out from under me!

Tranny time...not yet. Should have enough money rounded up by the end of the year...if everyone pays me what they owe me

I still like how it looks in the first pic but the third pic is definately mean looking. Best looking set of 19.5's I've ever seen.

On another note, how are you liking that crossover steering? I'm debating doing that as well.

Thanks...I personally hate tires that stick out that far...but that's just me. The widest I'll ever go is a 285...which is perfect for my tastes!

Crossover steering...Love it. Easy to install, other than drilling the pitman arm. Easily serviced, and tough! I like the fact that I can rebuild it completly, not have to replace EVERYTHING...just the rod ends!

Yep, the more I look at it, the more it sags Have Factory overloads, and 1-1/2" blocks to go back there for now...not sure what I'll do permanently, yet. I'm thinking Air

Better mileage...I doubt it. They weigh 95lbs each, and the wheels are 45lbs. They lower the RPM a lot, but they are heavy. We'll see. Preliminary results are 250 miles on 3/8's tank. That is corrected 18% for the tires

Thanks for all the comments guys...keep them coming. I'll take some more pics of the Crossover steering installed today, if the weather gets better!

If I did my math correctly, it comes out to 15.56% difference between a 245/75/16 and a 285/70/19.5. Personally, I like how it looked before. I like a taller sidewall on 4x4 trucks, and for the tires to stick out a little. Not 3-4'', but just a little. Those are the best looking 19.5's I have seen though.

GPS is telling me 18%...at 59mph, the speedo shows 50mph. 59/50=1.18, or 18%

I like a proportional tire..not a little tiny wheel and 40" tires...I also needed plenty of weight capacity in case I ever have to pull something...farm equipment can be heavy! Not too mention I've never seen another one set up like this...the rest of the truck is different, might as well make it a package

Thanks for all the comments guys, glad to hear I'm doing OK with it!
More to Come

Looks good Chris.

Did you check your speedo with GPS while rolling on the stock tires? My guess is it was off a couple MPH then. I bet the error really is closer to 15%.
