Chris,

believe it or not the egt's are managable with the hybrid, with my 100 plate all the way forward it's really hard to use the truck to pull with, but with the stage IV Bullydog slid back about 1/8 of an inch it's really nice, I need to go to a bigger ex. housing on the hybrid & have my timing bumped up, I know it's slipped below stock, but just gotta get the time to run to Knoxville to have it done, I think I'm definatly gonna give them a try but,.........do you think I'll be able to pull with it in valet mode????????? or ya think she'll still get toasty???? thanks, Dusty

No, towing you should be fine...what do you tow? Equipment, or something a bit more aerodynamic?

Spoolup is your friend for keeping EGT's down at highway speed! When the turbo takes forever to light, temps get high early, then stay put when the air gets moving!

Make sense?

Who did you but your L/C's from? Do they make you pay a core charge? I was thinking of 191's for my setup to see what it would do. I can get them for $230. How do you think the 191's would help performance?

I got a screaming deal on a set of stock 181's...so I sent them to Industrial Injection! No Cores, since I sent my own...and they cut them for $250, plus freight!

Just an update on this old thread...

Fuel in signature + HX35/40 (60mm/14 Non-W/G) @ 1450* and 40.6psi = Missing exhaust wheel. Hows that for spool???

Snapped the shaft at the exhaust wheel, and I can pull the shaft clear out the intake side

I'm done with Holsets

Schwitzer...unless I fall into a pile of money, then it'll be a Garrett

Since this truck is going back to being a tow rig... I'm thinking a S300G (HTBG, Super B, etc) and full 4" should handle 300-325hp just fine, and spool perfect

That's cool...

I'm suprised the HX snapped that badly that easily.

Me too...I wasn't expecting it at all. I didn't think I was running that hard...but then again, it had made 40psi before I hit 70mph...I had A TON of fuel left to throw at it
