Large injectors without a box?
Assuming one had the air, would not having a fueling or timing box(boost fooler only) limit the level of injectors that could be run.
I am seriously thinking about some 125+ hp injectors, a boost fooler, and a different turbo/'s.

Re:Large injectors without a box?
After about 100hp injector, I would suggest that you at least run an Edge EZ or DD TTPM to match injector to pump delivery.
But, the 125's with a boost fooler will work fine.
You just wont have the low end that a box will provide.

Re:Large injectors without a box?
I have a set of BD5 injectors, and a comp box. Most of the time when using these injectors I run with the box off, the boost fooler still works and it runs good, but I am a huge fan of the comp box and would do it before injectors.

Not to change the subject too much, but will my Power Puck that is on my 2000 work on a 2001 truck?

The MAP plug and parameters are different so the Puck will not work properly, but if it is the older canbus style Puck it will give some fueling.

Re:Large injectors without a box?
What are you going to try? Which injectors, clutch and which turbo I mean? I will be coming through Ft Worth on the 23rd if you need anything.

I was just re-reading things and realized that you will need a boost elbow so the waste-gate operates later than 20-22 lbs.
You have a hx35 turbo and there are other exhaust housings to use that will reducw heat. Go bigger!

Re:Large injectors without a box?
I ran about a year with III's (100hp) and no boost elbow, I did notice more power down low. I also didn't hook up the comp I bought at the same time because the III's caused my clutch to slip and I needed it to last a while. Mine never overboosted with just the III's, never set an overboost code either. The wastegate seemed to be able to handle it. Now without the extra boost, I wasn't able to fully use the extra power, but going from stock to III's I never noticed. I dyno'd around 290rwhp with just the III's, K&N, stock everything else. Now I have the comp hooked up, SBFE, Pschotty II, straight pipe, and I can see around 36-38psi. I also dyno'd around 450rwhp, but I can't tow shoot.
