Re:L&L Ladder Bars
YES, not to be critical but throw them away. $300 waste. I installed a set on a truck and they gave me nothing but problems untill they broke the frame!!! Yeah I said broke the frame. The bars bolt tight to the axle tubes which gives NO movement there untill pressure is so great they twist on the tubes when one tire is trying to go up and the other going down. That puts huge leverage on the location of the fram where they are mounted by helm (if thats how its spelled) fittings which is for allowing up and down movement. This is not even a link type suspention at all. If the bars were connected to the axle via some sort of moveable joint then there would be no torque placed on the frame besides forward/backward movement.
I have a set for a reduced price of $200 for anyone who would like to try?

Since this subject has been brought up...I have a question..

With our truck producing so much torque does it seem logical that the rear springs will try to roll???? When I am pushing my 5er down beside the house..it feels like the axle is trying roll. It only happens in reverse...

Rick
