Im running the Bridgestone Revo Dueler.. been an excellent tire, I have approx 50k on them and will have to change them this fall. Have pulled heavy some, haulded the truck camper around + pulled 16ft enclosed, and plane drove back & fourth to work. Still have mile in them but with winter coming on, not sure how long I will wait. Oh, they do well off road, not sure about heavy clay mud, but everything else is ok.

Dont forget to look at the Goodyear Silent aromor.. suppsoed to be a good tire.

Not to throw more irons in the fire, but how about Toyo a/t or m/t.

IMO from what i've seen of my buddies running Kuhmos on their jeeps were that the tires were cheap ($110 for a 35" mud terrain) and it shows. the first set he wore out in a little over a year and the first time he went on the trail with them he was literally ripping the tread lugs off of them. But he ran them because they were cheap and easily replacable.

also in an 18" size, how many of the other brands are E-rated

I Don't think any of the tires were comparing are E rated. Does anyone know of a website that compares tires, beside tirerack? Thats the only place
i can find with feedback on tires.

Looks like tires for 17-18" rims cost alot more than 16" for the same outer size. Is that in generaly the case.

I have 16x 8s ,was thinking of getting some rims alittle large diameter than 16s , think ill stick with 16s.. and get 16x10s

18's are crazy high compared to 16's.

I have made my decision a little narrower though. i am going to get either nitto AT or MT, or kumho AT or MT in a 35 12.50 18. decisions decisions

I have had 2 sets of kumhos, and would never run another set again. they are the worst tire that i ever had, they drove terrible, had a annoying shimmy to them, had them balanced 6 different times no luck, went back to BFGs and much happier.

What kumhos where you running that you had problems with? The new ones seem to be getting lots of good reviews.

I have kuhmo 285/70 r 17s on my pickup, and i have never had any problems with them. i have kuhmos on all three of my pickups and i have for the last 2 or 3 years and they seem to work pretty good and i drive more on gravel and in corn fields than highway probably.
