Kool-Vue Flip Out Mirrors

I am wanting to install the kool-vue flip out factory style mirrors onto my 2001 dodge. Does anyone know where I can buy them from that will SHIP to CANADA. I have just spoke with the dealership up here and they only offer the non-power and non-heated style for 390 bucks!! There has to be a better option. I have searched this site and checked out all the recommended sites but shipping to Canada is a problem.

If shipping to Canada, be patient and us the US postal service. Much cheaper and usually only takes about another couple days. Why don't they want to ship?

They will ship to Canada only if you setup a US address with a company called Bongo International. This will cost you 5 bucks/shippment or 15 bucks/month. Then the company you purchased the product through will mail it to Bongo International then Bongo will ship it to you. Also Bongo shipping rates are a little too high for my liking. I don't know if they ship UPS or USPS either. They don't say.

i dont mean to hijack, but any kool-vue users experienced their mirrors loosening up and vibrating in the housings while driving? i put my kool-vue mirrors on a few years ago and they started vibrating after a month or so. ive just been deployed and gone so much that i never got around to seeing if it was a common problem or trying to fix it. doing a quick search didnt turn up anything. any insight appreciated.

When I had my second gen, I bought them from Fenderworld. $20.00 shipping to Canada. No GST, PST or duty. Not exactly sure how they did it, but they were sitting on my deck 5 days after being ordered... I paid 399 Canadian, exchange and shipped to my door, they had heat and power. Then 3 weeks later I traded the truck... go figure...

yes, i installed them with the OEM tow mirror bracket and they are tight. on mine, the mirrors themselves are a bit loose - not the housings. they vibrate just enough to be annoying.

I swapped the heated power tow mirrors off of one of our '05s with the heated power tow mirrors off our '98... hardest part was getting the color coding of the wire reconciled so the OEM switches would work the other set of mirrors.

Looks pretty cool on both trucks!

Just saw this at Genos. They aren't the OEM replicas, but the price is pretty decent...

**** mirror sale..
