A **** or T on the turbo?

Trying to make it run better or harder before I get injectors and smarty.

I was loooking around and trying to figure out where and what is it that I heard people do to some valve on the turbo or near it to make it spool better and faster? Is it the waste gate adjsutment?

Anyone have any pictures?

Thks again in advance!
T

I will get this paid off truck to run the way it should one day

youre probably thinking about a 'manual boost controller' or a 'boost elbow' but you'll need a boost fooler to go along with it to take full advantage...unless you buy a downloader/power module with a boost fooler built-in.
no boost fooler = overboost code from the ECM and defueling as a result.

Adding boost alone won't increase power at all.

So nothing you can do to the turbo will make it run "better and harder" until you get the injector and/or smarty.

Then, you'll need to tweak the turbo a tiny bit to take better advantage of the mods. With mild injectors, I'd just plug the wastegate and call it good. You only need that WG if you're pushing enough fuel to spin the turbo past 32psi, imo...
