Kleen Wheels??

Re:Kleen Wheels??
They are well worth the money. I got mine from the local Rhino Linings store. They keep the front wheels as clean as the back wheels. I have used them on the last 3 trucks I have had.

Re:Kleen Wheels??
Anyone have a clue as to what degree of airflow and disc ventilation is LOST by using those? As much as I hate the dust, It's sorta nice to hit the brakes on a long downgrade, and be reasonably certain they WILL stop the truck and fiver, and that the discs aren't burning up as the price of clean wheels...<br><br>"MAN, you shoulda SEEN that tangled wreck down at the bottom of the grade - but his WHEELS sure looked nice..."

The shields do have little "scoops" on them tha are supposed to pull air into the brakes. I have never noticed any brake fade with them. I don't know that I would worry to much, with a 5th wheel on the truck, unless you are over weight, the proportioning valve should have the rear wheels doing a lot more braking.
