I thought you might have been boating out in the middle of I-5 looking for a Chinook or early Steelie. I guess the water hasn't been quite that high this time.

this one comes with all ur gaskets and the front main mine came from tst products but it only had the front main but the timing gasket kit aint much at oreillys and u can make ur own tab and get a longer bolt download the instructions from tst or someplace and u will know what i mean by longer bolt really simple the hardest part i think is getting the fan clutch pully assembly off takes a 10mm open end wrench or a boxed in that has been ground down to be thinner some advise slightly tighten that 4th bolt before u try to loosen it that was the only way i could get mine off and we had to take off the 4 bolts that hold on the pully to the bracket or bearing whatever u want to call it there is also a way to fix this without taking everything apart but u need a "jig" and the ability to tap the hole u drill so u can thread in a bolt with lock tight as to keep the pin from backing out personally take the time to do it the first way that way u dont have to drill ur housing cover and everything looks the way it did when it rolled out the factory just my opinion

oh and dont worry that it says 94-98 the gaskets and seal will fit them all just i search for more parts for my 96 than my 99 so thats always the years of truck i search for but everything will fit just the same

You can get kits. I just buy the tabs and front main seals from Cummins NW. I use Permatex #2 or Ultra-Black RTV on the front cover and that's it.

LOL Definitely NOT like last years floods!! I spent over a full day ferrying in and out emergency crews, critical supplies and fuel for generators. Most of this was in the dark, dodging fences, tops of sign posts, debris, floating cars and dead livestock. At one point I had news crews on the boat and sometimes got a friendly helicopter escort. And trying to find your way through a valley with nothing more than my GPS, search lights and my wits made for an adventure of a lifetime!

Good news is, the rivers are still in good enough shape for me to keep on fishing for Silvers and Steelies. I's gonna be a great year!!

I recall doing similar type of stuff in the Christmas '64 flood around Sauvies Island. Good fer you! Being as I was a fairly young lad at the time, I thought it was great fun and excitement.

I sure hope you're right about that. I have only been out once since I had been working nearly full time and also sending our youngest granddaughter to kindergarten from our home since her Momma is a flake about it.

Since I fish quite a bit, I see the trends pretty early. So far, it's a great statr to the Winter run. But with the PNW weather, we may only get a month to fish or we might get through March. Tough to say. I am hoping for really cold weather again this year.
