Kill/Lockout Switch
After reading some of threads on this site and hearing bad news about stolen trucks here in the Phx area makes me want to take the extra step to make sure my truck is still there when I come outside - thinking about installing a security switch that will prevent starting, 1) looking for suggestions on where to install a switch that is relatively easy to get to but still functional and 2) what to hook the switch into, Fass pump seems to be first thot but could cause IP damage, suggestions? Need to make this simple for the wife to use or she just may not use and then she would be the one walking/or I would be the one at fault

Not sure about the FASS but I installed a hidden switch that interupts the starter, all the lights come on but nothing happens when you turn the key forward as if the battery were down but no click.
I am just down the road from you, Anthem, and having one Dodge Ram already stolen in Scottsdale I am justifiably paranoid.

Just interupt the starter signal, as D1ezel stated, its easy and to a would be thief, the will think the battery is dead, you could place the switch just about anywhere, my suggestion is to use a momentary switch, that way you have to hold it on so the starter will work and you will never forget to "arm" it after using it
