Are you looking for the "jig" or are you planning to remove the front cover and tab the pin? We used the jig last weekend to kill the pin on my brothers 99. Took a couple hours to do. If you use the "jig" there are a couple being mailed around the country. All you have to do is get on the list and when you are done with it pay for shipping to the next person. Good luck!

On edit: I should have mentioned the jig we got was on TDR. Someone here may have one also.

Or you could just bend-up a piece of heavy coat-hanger wire like so ~
And slip that boy under the adjacent bolt like this ~
Some folks have simply peened the metal of the case where it surrounds the pin.
Don't forget to check all the case bolts while you're in there. More than one have been found loose.
Hope this helps.

One thing about the TST kit is they have one install the crankshaft seal in a manor that is contrary to the FSM instruction. Specifically, they have you install the seal without the timing cover being installed first. The reason is the thing's next to impossible to access to do it the FSM way.
While many appear to have success doing it that way, the risk of damaging the seal is still there.
Consider this method of installing the seal once you're done with the tab ~ https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=126282
Hope this helps.
