There's a link on the download page on madselectronics for the zip program you'll need.

So has anyone verified if this new beta software actually increases the rpm limit from the exiting Smarty software limit of 3500? The extra 500 rpms on a track pulling the sled would do wonders...

for now, trying to keep a positive outlook on things, but Marco is coming to the states in october, one of the things on his agenda is some new stuff for the vp44 crowd...

He basically told Bob Wagner to get a cam and springs installed in his truck before he comes so they can do some testing, I hope it works and isnt more smoke and mirrors

Awesome, I would love to try it out. I rode 3500 rpms down the track saturday in Maryville, MO and that extra 500 rpms I know would have given me the 3 feet I needed for first place. The winner was a pesky duramax with a screaming high rpm limit.

Bnold, what rpm do you hit while pullin?

Yes I did, and it appears that they are talking about where it pulled hard to, or fell on its face, not a physical limit of rpms. I've owned my Smarty for over a year (no updates done to it), and it has always allowed my truck to rev to 3500 dump the clutch and pull the sled down the track at or near 3500 until the truck gets loaded at the big end of the track.

I think the stock software is limited to 3200 rpms under a load... so for me it increased the rpm limit to 3500. I'm interested in bumping this up to 4000.

I understand what your saying....but I don't quite see the difference? No matter. I have seen 3800 rpm on the dyno with previous Smarty SW...... but on the road it did start defueling at 2900 rpm. No longer.

Didn't your TST Comp fuel past 2900?

In my case, my drag comp provides the fueling, the Smarty just allows the engine to reach 3500 rpm.
