Just intstalled my Fuel Pressure guage

Anyone know the difference between the OEM fuel pump and the Carter 4601HP aside from a few fittings ? People have complained about the 4601HP's dying constantly... The OEM from Napa is $180, Carter from Summit is $90.

OEM from Napa! If it dies just take it back get another free! Warranty Baby it's a beautiful thing!
Shovel's right about the gauge that $229 gauge saved me $1500 in the first 15 min. it was on!

But in actuality is there a difference? Interestingly, Carter says no warranty will be granted unless you put a filter before the pump and the stock installation has no filter before it. I just put in a Carter as a temporary solution until I finish my fuel system. I get 14 PSI at idle now and no less than 8 PSI at WOT. I am curious to see how this will change when I go from banjo fittings + stock line + stock filter to new 3/8" lines and high flow fittings and high flow filter. I will throw in my Carter before I try a Holley Black with the new setup.
