Not sure about a light but....?
I made a little pointer up that mounts to one of the sensor bolts and sits just above the damper, Then pulled the #1 injector and put my dial indicator in and did the absolute TDC thing ( .0050 past = line on the damper then back to 0 and another .0100 before then back to .0050 before and a line on the damper mid point between the two lines is TDC ) Now whenever I want TDC I just pull #1 rocker box and put my looooong handled ( custom made 36" 1/2 drive ratchet) ratchet on one of the damper bolts and turn it over till the line I cut into the damper with a hacksaw blade and painted with white paint, lines up with the pointer and thats it. If the rockers are loose on 1 its #1 if there tight its #6. This took a couple of hours one evening but has already saved me time in two valve/timing sets and one pump change.
