Juice Lacking Power In Upper Levels
My Buddy Just Put The Juice/Attitude On His Cummins And Kind Of Lacks Power In His Upper Levels He Says And His EGT's Are Out The Roof! Does He Absolutely Need The 4" Exhaust Or Can He Get Around That? I Told Him EGT's Would Go Down With Exhaust But Will He Feel A Power Gain As Well? He Has All Stock Pipes And Just Does Not Want It Any Louder. Any Of Your Opinions Would Be Great To Back Up My Arguement With Him. Also If You Can Think Of Any Other Things That Would Cause A Lack Of Power Feel Free To Add.
Thanks
P.S. Wire Is Tapped And My Juice Works GREAT For The Record!

I'd get three items in this order: exhaust, gauges and Smarty. I had a friend download my truck with sw#9 last week and it amazed me. Way beyond the EZ in driveability and upper end. Tranny mods are inevitable.

It took me a day to figure this out... but the unit comes with the low boost settings for all the levels on #3... turn them up to 5 on the upper levels and she'll carry A LOT more power clear through the whole RPM range.
If you haven't tried that already, i'm at a loss. Mine rocks all the way though!!!
