Juice FP pressure problems..

Juice FP pressure problems..
Half the time it reads 13-15, and down to 9 or 10 when I mash it on level #2
Some of the time it reads 2-6 , but then I can mash it and it jumps up to 12-13.
truck performance always feels the same.
My problem is that is makes no sense. Shouldn't it go DOWN when I mash it? Which leads me to believe my low readings are not correct, but I'm afraid to trust that. I want to upgrade my LP eventually, but not unnecessarilly.
Do you think the sensor could be goofey? Is there a way to check?
