JR Atkins HX-55

I just wanted to get y'alls opinion on the JR Atkins HX-55. With the injectors and the Drag Comp my EGT's are through the roof. I have the stock 35 on there now. Will I still be able to maintain daily drivabillity, lower EGT's, get more power and still be able to take it down the track when I want? Just wanted to see what y'all thought. Thanks guys

Eric

the 55 is a great turbo, but you may need more fuel than you have to spool it. contact JR and he can tell you for sure. i ran his 55 for about a year but i had some bigger edm's too. if you go to looking for a 55, let me know as i know where one is.

Im sure it is an awesome turbo but a whole lot more than you need a super B would handle the horsepower you have. Smitty is right you would need some much larger sticks to get the most efficiency out of that HX55 and to even get it to spool remotely quick

Tell him what you've got, what you've got planned, and what you want to do with it and he will recommend a great turbo for you!
