Jammer 3's versus RV275's.
If I switch out my RV275's for Jammer 3's will I see a significant increase in performance? I know the tranny might be hurting, but other than that? Will my towing performance be affected (towing approx. 12K)?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes.. big difference.. you talking about 35hp increase to about 100hp... many have made this change... I like the 100hp range, no matter who's injectors/nozzles you purchase.. just the right size for towing.. and having fun.. with a high HP box you can be in the 400hp range...
Bryan
Edit:.. they can be hard on Auto trannies.. if they have not had any upgrades..

you mention the 275's on an SO engine, are they better on an HO???? I too have been thinking of going bigger, might go with the Jammer 4's instead of 3's, a local shop has them in stock vs. ordering the 3's, so how big of a difference should I see by going from the RV's to a set of 3's or even 4's????? sorry for hijacking the thread, thanks, Dusty

so if the RV's are 40ish??? can I expect the full 100 or 125 hp from the 3's or 4's??? if so that'd be 60 to 85 hp more depending on whether I shoot for 3's or 4's, so the ? is will the jammers give me the same real world numbers as what they advertise????? thanks, Dusty

It sounds like the 3's are the way to go for me. Now the big question; I didn't notice any problem with my auto tranny after adding the VA and 275's, how much harder will the 3's be on the tranny? I'm prepared to do an upgrade, if necessary, but I'd like to coast a while, if I can.

You will be coasting when the stock tranny lets go

Yes the 3's are gonna make the tranny not like you very much!!!! The 275's are really mild compared to the 100hp 3's.......so as long as you don't abuse the poop out of your tranny after your new found power, your tranny should hopefully hold on for awhile............like I said "HOPEFULLY!"
