Any towing?

What did you torque the bridge nuts down to?

I like them alot. I can get the EGT's to climb quicker, especially on the 5,5 setting.
I haven't towed yet, but will be towing Saturday, I'll give an update then.

I did it by feel. Do you think this could be where my diesel smell is coming from?

Yes, the cause of my leak(s) were the connector tubes. There's a TSB on the early 98.5 trucks. The original tubes are designed to be torqued once. I replaced them with the updated tubes and all is good!

Egts

Yea, how are those egts when you towed with it. I'm curious.
I installed a set of 275's and I had a diesel smell afterward . Well it turned
out that #5 or#6 was a little loose and a line down by the pump was leaking
too.
I'm undecided on the 3s or 5s . Your egt report might help me decide.
I do very little towing and I dont want to regret a bad decision.
My gut says go for the gusto and control temp. with my right foot

Oh yea, how dirty are they when ya mash it?

sweet write up...I just did an install on some new sticks myself...I kicked myself though because one week later I decided to make a valve adjustment.

Note to anyone out there installing injectors. While you are in there take the extra 15 min and adjust your valves.

I've towed a couple different vehicles since install, 2 vettes(light), an isuzu trooper,a bronco and my cruiser. Max weight with trailer probably 7K lbs.

I am post turbo, but I "only" got up to a bit over 900° on an 11% grade on a small, low speed back road. I also got my trans temp a hair over 200° that trip. That was pulling towing the bronco.

I daily drive, and tow with my comp box off. I like the feel with just the injectors, and it's making my stock trans happy.

If by nirty you are refering to smoke output, yeah, it's there.

Nice pics
Just had my injectors installed this weekend.
One thing that might be handy to have on hand prior to the install is gaskets for the horn/heater. The bottom one came apart on us, so someone took me to the dealer (luckily they were open) and we picked up two just in case. They were like $3.15 a piece.
