That is what I wanted to see, they have changed the design since I installed mine about three years ago. The older ones like mine had an adapter plate that bolted to the turbo and the brake mounted to the adapter plate with a clamp ring. They have done away with the adapter plate and cast it right into the valve housing.

Be very careful geting the bolts that hold the turn down elbow to the turbo. Spray them after the engine cools real good and if they don't move easily. you can tap on the bolt heads very lightly with a small ball peen to kinda shock them loose. There should be a metal gasket that goes between the valve and the turbo that I didn't see or maybe I just missed it.

And the fun begins, good luck.

OOps, I see it now, it's the 5001 part lying by itself.

Hey CH it looks like you have the factory supplied switch and a 2 speed switch, in my opinion and poor experience with the factory switch junk it and use the 2 speed switch, I just put one on mine and works so much better. The factory switch failed after about 8 months. The 2 speed uses less wires wich is a cleaner install in the cab with less wires. Just 0.02 my worth.

CH: You saw how I mounted mine in the little cubby hole. I use if to kill the power when listening to the radio when the truck is parked or something like that then wire the two spped switch into the circuit to kill it at red lights and such. Looks like everything is there from looking at the pic.
Wish we were closer, I would help you put it in and hook it up. You can do it, just read the instructions.
Let me know how it goes.

Joel
