67hotrod, Did you have to go through all the self modding to it like redneck wrote about some other guy having to do in post # 12? Or did it go on as your instructions siad it would?

Whoa i just ralized something! 67Hotrod and Redneckwelding, What trans do you guys have? Auto or manual? auto is the HY-35 manual is HX-35 turbo. those will make a big dif as far as j-hook mounting amoung other things.

mines a auto and i have the j-hook mounted and running now. I wish i would have known someone with one so i could have taken measurement and built it for 10 bucks. I went to the hardware store and got the left handed thread to replace the one that broke for under 3 bucks. I didnt go with the 2 threads in each thing they said, I only went with one and made sure they were both going to bottom out at the same time

I know what you mean, I kept reading people saying they made theres for 5 bucks! But at the same time, I cant afford to over tighten and blow up or fry my turbo so i was hopin the bully dog would be a better idea over a home made. Especially with hot 67hotrod got his on! I hope mine will go that smooth, should be here today. Ill let ya know

What dave said... Cheaper to get a turnbuckle and they work very well too. I spent $2.88 last fall at Tractor Supply Co for a turnbuckle. Been mounted for about 8 months and haven't have any problems with it breaking or coming loose. I hit 30psi on my HY35.
