J hook and fuel questions.

J hook and fuel questions.
I was looking for more out of my truck so I picked up the TST j-hook. I am new to diesel truck but not turbo systems. And haven't ever dealt with a turbo system using MAP sensors.
I am getting about 35-36psi at WOT with the J hook installed. That is a 15 psi increase from what I was getting before with just my Edge Juice. With that boost increase without anymore fuel shouldn't the truck be running lean? I used to get a nice poof of smoke at when I got on it hard, but now there is no smoke at anytime.
I keep the Edge on level 3 most of the time in fear of my slopomatic transmission.
Am I running short on fuel? Would anyone recommend the Edge Jammers? I was looking at the 75hp level.
Thanks for the input.

if your worried about leaning out your diesel, dont...forget it thats gasser issues. you should worry when your too rich! you cannot hurt a diesel running it lean. lean means cooler egts and longer engine life. black smoke = higher egt's unburnt fuel, and wasted power.
I believe your at the outter limits of the stock turbo. any more and its just hot air. If you have less smoke @ wot, that means you have enough air for the fuel that the edge is providing. I have 80hp injectors, and with the edge on 5x5 I belch more smoke than the turbo can clean up
