Its Finally Here!!!
i finally picked up my new to me 2002 QC SB, 4x4,,, the guy i bought it from let the box go with it that he had put on it last year, said it was a power puck, 150hp, does anyone know anything about it??
all i know is that its really fun and will flat put you back in the seat with it turned on..,,, guys in lil riced out hondas don't like it either
i would also like to know what exhaust to put on it, it only has a stock muffler with the tailpipe cut off behind it, so it just comes out right at the rear axle
would it be good to go with 4 or 5 inch straight pipe??
any help would be appreciated
thanks
Cowboy
PS.. why will my cd player only play factory cds and not burnt cds????

Fill out your signature! Yeah, my CD player sucks too. Bought cd's and better copies is all it wants to play. And it won't play any cds until it warms up either! Sounds like a nice truck, and a 4" straight pipe should do the trick

Congrats on the truck.
Check out Rip Rook's systems, www.sourceautomotive.com
And get Sirius, you will forget about your CD player's shortcomings... I did

I replaced my CD player cause all it did was skip. I bought a player that I can plug my 10gig MP3 player with 3500 songs into it. It a sweet set-up. You can drive all week and never hear the same song twice.

bent rim
well got the straight pipe on , went to get the tires rotated and balanced and found that i have a bent rim , gonna be fun tryin to find a replacement that isn't from dodge, those alum. rims are expensive i'm trying to figure out to find a rim or go ahead and buy some aftermarkets but may just go ahead and get the factory rim,,, i kinda like them
i did find out that the box is not a power puck, but is 150 hp,
let the fun begin( and the spending),
now that i got the truck i keep finding new things to put on it and to save up for
i'm makin a list guys,,, what should be on it???
thanks

If your located in Canada, I have a set (4) of stock alumin rims and BFG AT for about $600, including the centers. There's about 15k left in the tires. There alot of nice aftermarket rims that are pretty affordable in comparison to the stockers. I think that a 4 wheeler site has a rim sale on right now, buy three and get one free. Thats what I'm buying a nice set of Mickey Thomas race rims. There way cooler than the stockers.

I live north of Moberly a lil bit,,almost to cario.
was playin with the truck last nite and boy was i impressed by how easily it will turn 285's , i just gotta watch my foot sometimes with the box on, fuel gauge goes down rather quickly, so i was wondering, what would be a good chip to stack??? i just want it for fuel saving and maybe turn it completely off once in a while so i can turn the big box on without hurtin the tranny
is there any such thing?,,, i'm quite new to the diesel world since this is my first diesel truck,,, thanks

factory cd players wont play mp3 or wma files, which most downloaded songs are if you burned them of the internet. most aftermarket cd players do. just check before buying.
