I started the truck this morning and everything ran fine. I drove it about 15 miles and all of a sudden the the fuel pressure dropped to like 12-13 and the truck had low power and then died. I am low on diesel (about 60 miles to empty) so i am not sure if i got air in the lines or if the VP crapped out. I NEED ANY IDEAS. What would cause the fuel pressure to drop like that? The FASS is running good too so I don't know. HELP!!

Do you have access to a scanner?

 

If you were that low on fuel, that could be the problem. Put some fuel in it, get it re-primed (if that's the case) and see if it will run. They suggest not running these VP trucks with less than a 1/4 tank of fuel. Check your fuel filter also. May have sucked up a bunch of crud with your new FASS.
