If you crawl under you dash and look at all the wires coming in to your cab there should be a bare copper wire when mine started to show intermittent readings this wire had at some time had the tape holding it fail I re wrapped it and have nay of a problem since.

Crap, for some reason I was thinking of the amplifier box for the tranny temp guage - sorry for the goosechase.

Bump...

Does anyone still make a pyro without a amp box? I know Bill prefers them, and I'm starting to just not trust mine. If I was such a fan of electronics, I'd have a dozen extra valves

I think Isspro still does...the Standard Isspro line. But the lighting sucks and they arent very nice looking compared to the EV series.

I have that pyro in my truck, I like it. The lighting could be better, but it's still plenty visible for me.

Geez been away from the computer for a few days and the thread is on two pages.

Well my guage will be reading fine it seems and then just drops to 0 and then will jump really high and then go back to regular reading then drop to 0 again. It doesnt do this all the time but i know it will do it nearly everytime i drive. So should i call isspro or should i call dieselmanor where i got the guage? I really hope i can get a new guage before i send this one back in i mean i would rather have a guage that works half the time then no guage at all.
