Thats why I went to a mechanical Isspro Gauge 4-1/2 years no problems.

Unhook the tubing fitting at the isolator and push the diaphram back into place. Get as much 50/50 antifreeze into the isolator before reattaching the fitting and filling the tube. Also, mine leaked a tiny bit at the gauge fitting causing the preasure to drop over time as well. Use thread sealer and check for leaks. Mine has been real reliable and consistant since.

I had same problems with my isolator for a whole year. I always thought it was a pump in my 2 pump setup so i always switched one out and it was fine. Then i ditched the isolator and ran fuel right to the gauge. Best thing to do imho. I primed my line into a soda bottle and then hooked it up to the gauge and siliconed it. No problems since.

I tried everything and said screw it. I'm running mechanical. If you put a neddle valve on it you'll be ok. I haven't had any problems at all.

It may take 2 or 3 trys to get enough anitfreeze in the line to get a steady gauge reading, I had to fill my isolator twice. If there is not enough in there eventually all the anitfreeze gets pushed up into the line, leaving the diaphram empty, and since air can be compressed you wind up with low or no pressure reading on the gauge.

Are you sure your LP isn't going south? I'd think pump before I thought gauge.

Fellas, I have a mechanical FP gauge and use an isolator. They are not limited to electric gauges.
