ISC 8,3 in RAM

Banshee- I would think that the weight wouldn't be too much of an issue. If I went that wild I'd have some suspension mods too. These Dodge suspensions don't seem too good at Mach3 ;D<br><br>For me personally the mild bombs on the ISB are probably enough.. <br><br>Thanks<br><br>AlpineRAM

Yeah on one of the diesel sights about a year ago someone had installed a Cummins 8.3 Mechanical C in a Ford F250 4x4, I think the weight of the engine was somewhere around 1300+lbs.<br>The conversion looked good too!<br><br>--Justin

The ISC is about four inches longer and 500 pounds heavier. The axle would take the weight but be maxed out. Gearing would be a problem, the rpm's are lower, killing the top speed. The six speed might take the torque. Might get somewhere doing a body lift and a little cowl work. The body lift would allow a larger trans like a RTO 6600. But why
