intercooler boots

ive been having problems with the boots blowing off. it wasnt bad till i put the injectors in. they blow off every time i stomp on it. i was wondering if the big rig style boots with the wire rings around them would be better with spring loaded clamps.

Take them off and clean them and the piping. There might be some oil residue on them and thats why they are slipping. Piers has a set you can upgrade to if you really want to.

Are you referring to the lower corner ones on the IC? If so I bought a set of the PDR ones and have been happy with them up to 60psi

Your stock boots were not made to handle 50psi. When I put new boots on I called everyone and PDR was the cheapest and they work. If you order a pair you'll see the differance. They are PITB to put on. If you keep trying to push 50psi through the stock boots you'll eventually just shred them.
