installing stcks

ordered some 6" stacks and was wondering if i could get some advice on the best way to instal them. they hook up to a 4" exhaust but i still have 3". would it be a big deal to run 3" into the 4" flex for the stacks. and i know the kit goes from 4" under the truck to 5" in the box to 6" stacks. TIA

I would think a 4" O.D. (for the flex pipe) to 3" reduder would be the thing you need. I just ran a 4" straight back to it if it was me much nicer.
