Installing first turbo on sat tips???
OK installing my new to me killer B2 this weekend on my '97 12v and i wanted to know
1st: any tips
2nd: what do i use for gasket material if any between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust flange or anywhere that metal is bolted to metal for that matter thanks

You only have two gaskets to replace, the manifold gasket and your oil drain gasket. The manifold gasket is a metal gasket that has a ridge all the way around it that smashes down to seal; the oil is just a normal gasket. You should be able to get both at the dealer for around 10-12$.
Tip: if the 12v oil drain is like the 24v drain its easer to take it off at the block than at the turbo. It just a hose clamp you can swap the oil drain over outside the truck……GOOD LUCK

No I don’t just tell them that you need the exhaust manifold gasket that goes between the manifold and the turbo. And the oil drain gasket that goes on the turbo, and might be a good idea to pick up the O ring that goes on the threads of your oil feed line were it hooks up to the turbo.
