Installing Exhaust Brakes.

As the title states I got my brake and getting all the loose ends tied up for the install on Sunday. Question is I got a large rubber o ring in the kit almost like the ones that come with our fuel filters and I cant find any were it says this thing goes. Also I am not going to use the factory switch it comes with as this thing is huge and the shifter switch was on back order. So when I hook it up to a regular toggle switch I know the white wire going to the power source for the light on the other switch I wont have to use but what about the ground wire should I put a ring terminal on it and ground it some were in the dash?

Thanks Jason

So the o ring mystery is solved it is a o ring for the fuel filter canister like I thought because on the 99 and down models you have to remove the canister to install the brake so they gave you a new seal for the canister
