Installed Mach4's

1475 isn't anything over the short term. I know of many trucks that see 1700+ for 10 second blasts. I wouldn't want to tow or have extended time with temps more than 1250 or so, but unloaded, I don't think you can hurt them. It's just too hard to put enough strain on an unloaded truck to burn it up. Mine would only hit 1325 on the dyno. On a steep hill I can make it go to 1475 for a second but then it starts falling off quick as the turbo catches up and the truck starts to defuel at 2700 rpm. By that time you are doing 100mph and it's time to get out of it anyway. Keep in mind these are on 5x5. I normally drive it on 3x5 where it's still snappy but egt's max out at 1175 or so and I have very little smoke. I can only speak about my own truck but the fueling and turbo configuration seems to be pretty nicely matched to each other. Now I just need a B2 on the bottom and some Mach7s lol.
I do wonder if upgrading to the drag comp would give me additional HP. I'm sure temps would climb a little but I think boost would increase past 33psi on the dyno and 38psi on the street so it might not get much hotter. Maybe with a drag comp and a squirt of water/meth, I could see 550

No experience on Superflow Dynos, but I aways see lower boost on dyno also. May be an Auto thing.

it seems EGT's and boost are same as before cruising @ 70mph, boost could be slightly more. But around town the Egt's climb much faster than before I can hit 1000f real fast where before 850 and 900 was average. I would say about 150-200 f hotter than with stock injectors and box on 1x5. Haven't really got on it yet to see what WOT temps are I am afraid of walking through my clutch.I am still trying to talk the little lady into letting me buy a Southbend clutch

That's about the time things are starting to get interesting. Before I had the B1 I routinely saw 1450+ on a daily basis. I'd see 1600 a couple times a week for a couple seconds. I'm just not sure you can hurt an unloaded truck.
I ran Mach2s & Comp on 3x5 with stock clutch for 6 months. I then ran the Mach4s for about 3 months before I thought I was starting to detect some slippage. When I swapped out for the Con FE, the stock unit looked fine with maybe just a little checking. I ran it on 5x5 several times the last few days before the FE swap and if it was slipping it was not hardly detectable. I always eased into it and didn't pour the coals until I had passed 2000 rpm.

Yeah I am trying to take it easy on the stock clutch right know but the little kid inside me keeps pushing buttons and pedals. I put it on 3x5 and felt some slippage. So i am backing off until I can afford a Clutch. And I must find the poor guy that was behind me on the freeway on ramp and apoligize. Because he was chewing on some thick black smoke.
The highest temps i seen before injectors was about 1250 with comp on 5x5 and the clutch never slipped.

I can easily hit 1100 WOT with box off...I've pegged out the pyro with it on 5X5...not sure if it's the thick air down here on the coast or what, but I'm not impressed with the B-1 that I have...I was able to hit 55psi once, but the clutch couldn't take it...my temps are not at all where I would like them, and it doesn't spool as fast as I'd like...vendor told me it would spool about as fast as the stock HX-35, but spools about as fast as my Super B single did...I'm going to have to get a set of twins in my set up before I blow molten metal out the tail pipe...

Do you think that there is a single turbo that would work for you? Twins are so much money that I don't really want to go that route I would like to stay with a single.

If you ever get the chance to run on a Superflow, or a Mustang do it. (Both load type dynos)
The "load" dyno has the potential to load your truck better then hooking it to a sled. You WILL see full boost on a load dyno. The only problem is it is very hard on the truck. You really have to watch the pyro.

Weird. I know I saw the same boost as on the street, but MUCH higher EGT.
I know that Bob was saying some people saw more boost, some saw less on the dyno. I can't make sense of that.

Once had a guy try to make one brand of oil look bad in a Pro Stock A-B-A dyno test. He adjusted a couple of dials and 30 hp disappeared. That was intentional... but I could see inexpirience or unfamiliarity with a "load type" dyno, maybe causing very different readings?
