Installed Mach4's
And WOW!! I can turn my comp box off and it feels like i have just as much power as box on 5x5. It idles smoother and 50 rpm's lower, acceleration feels smootheralso.
I can tell i am going to have to start saving for a clutch though because it is going to be hard to keep the foot out of it.
Thanks Don and Bob for super fast delivery i really wasn't expecting the injectors until next week sometime. You guys rock and keep up the good work
Just a quick question, What setting should my comp box be on if i don't have an upgraded clutch and bigger turbo to keep everything intact? Also what turbo and clutch should i be looking to buy in the future?

I would say the only setting your box should be on is OFF until you get a clutch. I have driven the southbend clutches and they are awesome. I drove some others that chattered bad and I think southbend is the way to go.

What turbo is going to be capable of keeping egt's down and spool quickly? The only other mod power wise would be a ECM. I already have plans for a south bend clutch and turbo i just have to figure out which ones?

I love my 4s but the Comp certainly livens them up. I run a B1-2 and on 5x5 I can get it to 1475 before it starts falling back off. I'm also running at 5500' so if you are lower I would think you would run even cooler wit a B1-2. I ran my stock clutch for a long time before it gave up. I now havr a Con FE which works great. A little grabby but nothing horrible. Going to have it on the dyno tomorrow so we'll see

My egt's run hotter than Duke1n's....with the smaller B-1 turbine housing and a bigger wheel....but easily controlable towing or cruising....unless WOT!

It put down 514 today on a Superflow dyno, which I understand to be stingy. Here is what I didn't expect... on the street with regular Comp, I have seen 38psi & 1475F briefly. Most people were seeing higher boost & egt's on the dyno than on the street. I saw less boost and egt's on the dyno... 33psi & 1325F. How can I make 514hp with those numbers? Several hx40 / smaller nozzled trucks were seeing 45psi and egt's through the roof. I must have landed on a pretty good configuration with Mach4s, B1-2, and a Comp
I did go with the 6sp clutch. Holding so far...

I should have stayed around at PDT/GAM to watch you lay down that HP with the Mach 4s.
I was happy with my run
I've heard these injectors are sick with the HP and lack of smoke/EGT.
Yes, 1475 is scary. My truck saw 1500 for the first time on that SuperFlow that tested Duke1n's truck.

**** 1475 isn't anything. I wouldn't run it there much at all but every now and again it should be fine lol. My last run my egts cruised passes 1600 last marking on the guage. I would say it made it to 1800 or so!!! First was around 1400 second was around 1550-1600.
That dyno loads the crap out of the motors wow!!!
Nice #'s dukie!!
I threw down 347 and 812 with the stock clutch
