Installed 16cm housing then.......
I found out that I hade a WH1C. This being my first holeset turbo'd vehicle I figured it was an hx35 because it was a 95. I had all this fun stuff to make it into a hx35/40 hybrid. Well I figured that I might as well throw on the non wastegated 16cm2 housing and do some tests. The truck spooled slower but I some top end that the stock 12cm2 housing didnt have. HTT was real quick on sending me the stuff I needed so I put the compressor and inducer wheel on today. Man what a difference. I love the top end that this thing has. Still not as fast spooling as that stock turbo but it is still very driveable. Very easy swap and I am very impressed. 370s came in today too, just got to find some dv's......

I recently did the #10 plate and 3 gsk and the 16cm housing, I am impressed with the results and like you I lost a slight bit of spool up not much but a slight difference, but when she comes on wow!! I have to get used to the boost gauge not reading while cruisng speed as with the wast gated stock one. I use my truck for towing only as it is not a daily driver so the slight slowness did not hinder me at all. Question did you notice any drop in egt at all?? Did your boost while normal cruising go low?? Goodluck,,Rick

Yeah , my egts dropped a little bit. While cruising boost was gone pretty much. Some wierd things I noticed was that my egts took longer to cool down before shutting down the truck.

Yep mine too on the cruising boost. I have not installed the cool down timer as of today, I kept it from my 94. Did you up your timming yet?? I did and it may be the effect of the not so much loss of spooling and the heat is not as bad either, I also have the afe mega cannon which helped. Goodluck,,Rick
