ok whats tha apps? and i plan on changeing the turbo at some point just dont have the money yet, ill try that trick with the paper towl right now. sonds like the stage 4 jammers are going to be to big what size is recomended for towing and milage, comparible to the mack 1.6s?

ok did the paper towl thing, and i dont know what im looking for theres the dark middle then a lighter ring around the dark middle. would it matter if i had lucus? is the apps something i can adjust or do i have to take it in to a shop and have them do it?

I highly doubt the injectors are bad. It sounds like you have a warn timing advance sleeve and in a nutshell, your VP cannot achieve full advance. That will make it down on power and mileage.

Another power and mileage eater is a dirty intake air temp sensor. With bad intake temp readings, the engine control unit cannot make intelligent choices on fueling decisions and both mileage and power suffer. You can clean this sensor with some spray can carb cleaner. This is a two wire sensor that is located on the driver side of the engine at the far back of the block, kind of behind the fuel pump and filter housing. The map sensor is located around cylinder 5; the intake air temp sensor is located near cylinder 6. I believe it takes a 15/16ths deep socket to remove it for cleaning.

got a new IAT, that didnt do much, so u think i need a new VP too? any other choices?

well could i run my daily driver with the stock charger with the jammer stage 4s and my smarty. i am not sure what edge injector nozzles i want to get for my truck, i use it as a daily driver and tow some times large loads.
