which injectors should I get?

I was wondering what is the best injectors for my use.I have 90,000 mi. on truck and I primarily use my rig for towing my toyhauler. It weighs between 15,000 -17,000lbs,I have good power now but wonder if new injectors would help it more. Thanks for any info.

I put RV275's and there great so far. I was told that the guys that tow alot really like them. It's an easy change.
Good Luck,
Topper

With your turbo, comp, and upgraded clutch, you should be able to handle mach 1.5s. Your egts might get a tad hot w/ the comp on kill, but other than that, you should be ok. No matter what injector you go with, go with edms, trust me, they are worth the extra $. They put out more torque than other similar sized fuel sprayers on the market.

I agree with DD4x4.. go with something in the 85-100Hp range.. that will allow you to run with your current turbo... If you are going to be going to a bigger turbo, you can go a little more..
Towing is not a problem... just turn the box off.. or on level 1.. No problems... That's with a stock turbo... with my current setup... Want to play.. just turn it up...

DD.. did you get that new turbo????

I agree with the above tow. Definately get something in the range of 85-100 hp. The 275's are a nice little boost but not enough to justify the cost if you've already got the clutch to handle it.

JD, the turbo (super B) should go in next weekend. Then I'll be getting ahold of you for the comp swap/upgrade to the drag.

Thanks for all the great info, what are EDM's and what brand injector should I go with.Even when I pull a 6 percent grade for 15 miles I have never seen over 1200egt with comp on 4x5.As usual I figured I would leave truck alone.LOL.

EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine) Its a process of boring and cutting... but very accurate... EDM injectors start with a blank injector tip.. (no holes.) They can add the number of holes, size of holes, and angle of the holes into the blank.. Most of the New injectors on the market are EDM injectors... F1's (DonM's) Mach's, JR's Mach's, Edge's Jammers, BD's.. there are many others out there... I know what I would use for $$$ to HP... but its just an opinion... but I've had great luck with my old DDIII's... (They are extrude honed..)

Its been so long since I was just on the Comp... but I would think you would be getting close to 1200 with the comp on Kill?? check that wire tap... With injectors.. just turn it down a little until its time to play...

DD... I better keep find some more toys... I don't want to be passed up.. I think that turbo will help a bunch...

I am running a Big Hoss unit in mine from Banks. How would the RV 275's be for mine. I don't want to go nuts, just a little more snap when running the mountains of Va going to the tractor pulls.

Chief-- the 275s would be a nice addition to the Big Hoss, and would be perfectly safe.

You could actually run a 75-80hp injector with that unit and be perfectly safe for EGT and such with a stock turbo.

Clutch might NOT be perfectly happy, though.

JDGNut;
Hey Brother, got your messages, and will most likely be entertaining that REAL SOON. Thanks a million. HOHN, IF mr clutch down there is not happy with the injector addition, I WOULD LOVE to go ahead and upgrade to a Southbend Clutch. I really want a twin disc.
