injectors or comp box

I have a truck with 220000 miles on it with an EZ. it has the original VP44 from its birth. I want to get some more power, should I put the comp box on it and risk killing the vp or should I put the injectors? If so what size?

Either way you should have a pusher pump before doing any mods. Both are going to be harder on the VP44. I would go with the comp box first just because you can turn it off or down if needed, but since you already have an EZ box some injectors would be a safe combo. Good luck!

It all depends on what you want to use the truck for and what kind of power you want to ultimately produce.

Injectors make alot of sense looking from the outside.
