Which injectors??

New to the forum, and have to say that it's great.

I'm looking into some bigger injectors in the +100 to +150 range. Which brands in your oppions are the best or would work the best in my combo? Thanks

Mach 4s are 150 HP, that would probably be as much as you could run with your turbo.

With Mach 4's, what would the smoke be like? Right now I have no smoke even with the chip on 5.

4.5's are 175. Smoke will increase. not a whole lot, but enough to fog an intersection...

Mach's are $250 more than BD's. Are they worth the difference?

I can't give you a direct answer to that- Normally I run Mach 3s from F1 and those are the old ones. Even they gave me better fuel economy, manageable EGTs and good smoke control. Now there's a parcel with updated 3's on the way for me from DonM - I'm really curious how they will turn out, rumours say even lower EGTs and more power, better economy etc. Take this and mix it with excellent customer service and you get an idea why I do like them very much.
I do not have a direct comparison to BDs in my truck but on a friend's truck with approximately the same mods the Machs were much better than the other brand (don't recall if they were BDs ) with the same rating.

I have a set of BD155. They have low smoke and the power isn't crisp though the rpm range. I never drove a set of mach 4's but knowing Don they will be good. I've tried about four different manufacturers of injectors Don's are the best by far but this is for all out race injectors. How hot is your pyro at wot? You tow? Mach 4's are a big injector for a single turbo. For me I could tow a heavy trailer using the mach 4's. A single might be a bit of work to keep the egt's down. At idle my BD injectors idle funny and sound like the truck is missing. It also feels like the torque curve is down from my Dynomite diesel 180's. The BD injectors felt like a low 500 hp injector. There are a few guys running low 600's on mach 4's. Its hard to find something wrong with the mach injectors other than the price, but you are getting the best in the industry so....

With the setup that I have right now my Pyro maxes at 1100 on the 5 power setting at WOT. My truck has about 6000 lbs on the bed all the time. HTT Turbos told me that the HTB2 62/14 turbo would handle 150's just fine, but from what I gather not all 150's are the same. I do not drive at WOT that much, but of course who can resist stomping on it every once and a while.
