Injector suggestions?
OK... looking to upgrade injectors and need some info. I've done several searches but I can't seem to find out the limits of the stock turbo. I was thinking about ddp 90hp sticks but I wanted opinions/other options. I'm not ready to bite the bullet and get a new turbo. What size injectors can I run safely with the stock turbo? I should note that I've got a built trans with a triple disc converter sot thats not an issue.

i just bought 140's for my 12 vavle and was wondering the same thing, personally i think if you dont full throttle it all the time you should be fine, just make shure your waste gate is operational....

I just put a set of ddp 140 and the power is awsome. The only thing that i dont like is that i had to set the timing at 18deg to keep it from popping, and with stock head bolts. Its fighting with fire if you know what i mean.

I ran my HR370s (like a cleaner version of DDP4's) with my stock turbo for about 4 months. It got hot on the top end, but ran great. Did 334hp/1042tq with it. Unless you are running full bore all the time, it'll be just fine with the stock turbo. I had my wastegate disabled, about 43psi or so.

Injectors and possibly turbo are next on my list but I'm afraid of blowing the stock headgasket. That's what has kept me from doing it so far.

The hot rod 370's are from F1 Diesel. I got them from Ratsun on here, who ran these after he had DDP4's. I've heard of Smokem injectors, its his style GSK I'm running. I've heard his injectors are very clean and good output, but I've never tried them.
The EGT's were the same as stock injectors for everyday driving. When I dynoed it, by the time I let off at 3k rpm, I was at 1600. The run was probably 10 seconds long or so, run started at 1400 rpm.

So I hear the DDP injectors have a 155 degree spray pattern, which is basically the marine 370s. My question is, is that optimal for our engines? What would be the optimal spray pattern and hole number for our trucks to give the best fuel atomization?
Tate, how is your fuel economy on the 12v?
