Injector Question

Injector Question
I am trying to find some information on a set of after-market Bosch injectors part number is 0433171431. The seller had them on a 96 CTD with a #6 plate and was at 31 psi boost, controlled EGT's with a K&N. He traded the truck in and returned it to stock. The plate and injectors are priced below that of the plate and M300's new. They are a five hole nozzle with an 0.012 size oriface. A Bosch diesel shop out East put the combination together for him. Said they were better than the M300's (which were out of stock at the time).

I am wondering if these will work in a 98 auto with the #6 or #4 plate and also wondering how they compare to the M300's? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Paul

Re:Injector Question
I have 370 with a 180 pump and a #10 and it is over what the turbo can hold. I don't think the injectors only with the plate in stock posi will hurt the turbo. But Don knows more than I do about that one.
DM01

Re:Injector Question
That's why I love this site. Good, straight-up info. Sounds like these are bigger than what I'm looking for (the M370's that is). I've only had the AT built to HD standards not high performance and would have trouble if I topped low 300's for HP. They were a good price but probably would have bought more trouble. Hard to explain why now that I got bigger injectors I just need a bigger turbo, then, then . . .
Re:Injector Question
I don't understand how any of this could hurt the turbo??? The turbo may not have the boost to keep up, but it really shouldn't hurt anything tho. As far as the tranny goes, if you were easy on it then you should be fine. All I am saying is don't pass up a great deal.
