injector choices 96 12v
i got some great info and pm's out of my last posting so now i am currious if i go to a performance injector some tiem over the next year what should i look at
Truck is a 1996 180 HP motor with a NV5600 (in a 96 Ford)
current mods include:
Open K&N
TST plate #5
HX35/40 60mm fan 6 blade
16 cm Non- WG housing
4" turbo down exhaust (muffled)
12* timing
A couple of people mentioned going to the 215 Hp injectors from my 180's what about the 230Rv's or DD stage 2 injectors should i look to a EDM or an extrude honed. This a towing rig but power is fun.
Also my truck is lacking in the bottom end department mid range is there but not like it should be, any recommendations. I do have access to swapping with a friend of mine who has a 215Hp pump on his truck that he is getting rid of, would it be worth the cost of swapping the two P pumps to get the larger volume or would there be other problems?
Thanks

First timing NEEDS to be raised.
If your going to run bigger inj. go about 16.5*
Give that a try and see what you get.
Also the trade would be good.

I agree with Eddie you need to raise your timing definately!
Next on the injectors I wouldn't go radical since you tow with the truck. Either 370's or DD2's and that still might get pretty hot. :-
