injector/charger for sunday driver/occasional towing

I wish you would have drove this truck... It seems like it takes forever to get boost compared to my 01... maybe it's the restrictive ho sticks. I guess I'll know when I put some bigger ones in and see how it lites up.

I have the first one built...no stainless housing here. I think you mean the Super Stock 62/71/13ss which is the same as mine, but has a stainless housing. The SPS 62 is Super Phat Shaft 62 made by II. If you have a 100hp injector or smaller, I'd recommend going with the 62/65/12....My brother is running one on his 04.5 & it lights off faster than the stocker. If you are planning on a 125-150hp injector, the SS 62/71/13ss is the ticket. They run around $1500.

I'll drive it when you get back up here! Theres a possibility of a leak but usualy, If you have a leak its not a gradual small leak. You would know it, No boost what so ever , lots of black smoke, no spool. but anything is possible!
Add on: I've never thought to add, Was that charger on your 01? You may have already said, but as you know im going so many diffrent directions its hard to keep up, If not ... Thats mostly the effects of the charger!

yeah it was on my old truck... everything the same except the difference in 01 so and 02 ho factory injectors. so much for the garrett bb... HTT said they sold their last two for around 1400 each to the same dealer. Now the cheapest place i've seen the kit is thoughrowbred, 1850 for the kit, and thats just untill they run out of stock. the same kit will be 2500+ everywhere when the firsts in stock are gone. HTT says they're not waist gated.

I didn't think they were wastegated either, but they are. If you go to the Garrett site and download the installation instructions, you'll see CLEARLY that they arere in fact installing that turbo on a CTD and there is a WG actuator rod, a cast section in the housing, and a hose off the compressor housing connecting to an actuator diaphragm. That sounds like a wastegate setup to me!
Now, the other Garretts generally aren't wastegated, but the "kits" designed for our trucks are..
Let me see if I can capture a pic of it...
