Injector Advice Requested
Check my signature block for current truck status. I'm looking at the next bomb as injectors. Early, I thought RV 275's were the way to go but lately, I've been told that DDII's would be a better choice. THEN, I've received information that going to DDII's would kick my EGT's up to a higher level (he suggested 1300's). Considering that I don't tow or haul and use my truck as a daily driver up and down the super slab, would I see these higher EGT's? Am I missing something here? I have planned on adding a Scotty II, with 4 1/2 " hole modification sometime prior to towing. This is indeed a slippery slope once you start bombing.

Hey Dave!

Since you're not towing, you probably won't see the 1300F range, unless you're at wide open throttle and climbing a good hill. And I wouldn't worry too much about 1300F either. These engines will take that without a whimper.

Rod
