Injector advice

I have a stock 5sp standard cab 3500 4x4 that I am in the process of adding a little power to, as this truck is going to be used for a lot of towing. What I have so far is AFE stage 2 intake, 4" exhaust, fass 150, and a TST Power Max. My question is I would like to run 100 to 150 hp injectors, but I want a injector that is going to help keep my egts down. I don't mind spending some money on them, but would like feedback from you guys who have towed with upgraded injectors and what you recommend.

Thanks!

If you have the basic powermax I think you could go 100hp. If you have the powermax2 I would think maybe 50hp sticks. The 3, I would leave it alone, and in any of these cases, you should turn up the boost on your turbo to 35psi to keep up with the fueling. If your chip doesn't have "boost fooling" you will need a fooler to turn the boost up. Get a boost elbow or rotate the wastegate actuator.

yes...total is correct ^.
I tow and the Mach 1.6s have been great. W/the setup in my sig egt's haven't hit 1200*. I towed to AZ along IH-10 in 120* temps and never had a problem. Don't skimp out and buy something cheaper as you'll regret it and end up doing it over and spending more. JMO.

I just put in a set of cpp injectors, priced right and really clean burning injector. I have mach 2.5's in one truck and the 125 cpp inj. in other. The mach's are a great injector but I think the 125's burn just as clean. It's hard to compare as one truck has a hybrid and the cpp truck has a small set of towing twins.

I tow alot with the twin truck and just switched out a set of 200 horse injectors for the 125's. I think it's better to lean on the small side of the injectors and have the ability to turn the fuel up where you need it. With the 200's I was on the edge on heat and take off smoke towing. With the 125's the control of take off smoke is alot better and I have complete control of exhaust temps.

I would say 100's are about the max with stock turbo and may be a little much depending on temps outside and load. The 5 sp. will probably be better to control ex. temps taking off than my autos are.
