Increase boost?

i have an edge comp...but i am leaving it untapped, because i havent got my new tranny in yet. And i know that the boost fooler works because even with it untapped i am able too pull 27#. But i want a little more as the egt's are around 1150* while cruising. My 4inch exhaust is still on order, and i was told by the diesel shop here that the exhaust might drop it too 1050-1100* but upping my boost to the 35# mark would cool it to 1000-1050* mark, plus give me another 2-3 hp.

Is this true?? And if so how do i manage to get this extra boost? I have an 02 with the 47-re and it is hard lined.

Jon.

I dont think you can get to 35 psi without tappin the wire. I run 36 with the wire tapped. Are your egt's at 1150* towing. That seems way high. I think you should be some where between 600* and 900*.
