im glad i have two lift pumps
so the stock one finaly died ive got a secondary but want to keep the double system going because the secondary only comes on when the truck gets oil pressure. whats a good replacement dont want to put a stock one on they never last

alot of people seem to like campaign pumps for the stock lift pump replacement.

I'd say get a FASS.
I had a dual stage system for a while - Carter/Edelbrock.
Stock Carter, but the Edelbrock was a problem. Had filtration issues, and Edelbrock specifically said they wouldn't warranty it since it was used for diesel fuel.

i would love to get a fass right now but dont have the money too many projects. also i like the idea of having the secondary pump there just in case. ive heard a lot about using holleys i think they said the black is the one to use.

Look at the Fuel Boss, it keeps the original pump in the system but runs on the mechanical pump, unless fuel pressure drops too low or the belt brakes, in that case the original pump is activated via a Hobbs Switch automatically. The FP rises with the trucks RPM instead of drops, the original pump is used in the initial priming.
