If you have a 12 valve with 370 injectors and a stumble-READ ME
I have had my 98 12valve for about 10 months now, shortly after I purchased the truck I installed the 370 injectors. I had that "stumble" or "hesitation" under very light to moderate acceleration at low RPM's. This was driving me nuts!!! A good friend of mine (John P), some of you know him- told me to get some 1/2 cut delivery valves, I finally did the install--- and as John said-- the hesitation is gone!!! This truck is so smooth right now it is unbelieveable. If you have the problem give Scheid a call and order some DV's.

what are half cut DVs?
i was under teh impression that anything larger than 181s will cause this stumble, or surging per say. I have 191s and the stumble just plain bites. But it did so with 181s as well..

First off, my truck had the 181 DV's, the half cut units are a modified DV, I don't know exactly how much material is removed, or exactly where, but they do look much different than the 181's I removed.

as i understand, the low end surging is caused by too much low end fuel, so how would larger DV's clear it out? I have 191s and the surging is not unbearable, its just a pain to drive with at times.. I was close to buyin some Laser cuts to eliminate this surging, but until i have sufficient proof that they will kill my surging and smooth out the truck im not budging.

im sorry, there was no shot taken at ya, Its just one of those things i sorta have to try myself then do, Well, i guess i best order teh laser cuts when i stumble upon a lil money, but my trucks gonna smoke like crazy, oh well, bad with the good i say. But my low end will kick im sure..

The only time mine seems to smoke more is if I jump on the go pedal before I have boost. If I roll into the throttle I really don't smoke to much.
