I want to find "smokers"

I have heard about Haisleys Machine producing "smoker" injectors for a 24V cummins. I am trying to find some anyone got any ideas most places have switched from these to lightings which are low smoke injectors. I want to smoke like a train Im getting a FASS and gauges before anything. I was just curious. I was also wondering is it possible to turn a 24V into a non electronic controlled fuel system and give it something like the 12V or is this maybe just a horribly bad idea any thoughts comments anything would be appriciated.
thanks again hoss

they do change the injection pumps on the 24v to something similar to the 12v's. and if ya want smoke get the injectors you are talkin about and a drag comp and unplug the map sensor from the block. that makes it smoke like a train

Your truck will make less power smoking like a train than if it's properly set up, black smoke is unburnt fuel, waste of money

Most people talk about "smoker" injectors as in they put out a huge amount of fuel and you realy cant clear them up with twins pushing alot of boost. They are usually for pulling and not for street use.

Get yourself a box and decent injectors and your truck will smoke. Just make sure you watch your guages tho because adding alot of fuel to get alot of smoke makes your EGTS skyrocket and you risk meltdown. Goodluck -Jake

i ran mine like that for 2 or 3 months. it throws a code, but dosnt set off the check engine light. as far as i can tell it didnt hurt mine any. i just unpluged it for pic puropses only. then i drove it like that once. and again. then i just didtn plug it back in because the smoke was so thick and black and awesome.

What its acually doing is dumping the fuel in earlier rather than when you build boost. This being said, it makes sense that it will increase your bottem end power. I, however, did not see an improvement. but every truck is different.

I have a stock 02 24V with nothing but a straight pipe and one of my buddies told me to unplug my map sensor and it will smoke like a train...So I did and no smoke and it was like I unplugged my turbo...

you HAVE TO HAVE A COMP! just unpluging the stock map sensor isnt going to dump fuel into the engine.

We all enjoy lots of smoke...at times. Please just give some thought to having it be selectable, so you don't give the feds and the environmentalists any reasons to clamp down on the rest of us....any more than they have already.

Thanks for reading
