Not with that turbo but yes to everything else. Go with some Mach 4 injectors. Best $900.00 i've spent on my truck...

+1 on the Mach 4s. Most 125hp injectors are too small to show you to 500hp.

Edge Jammer won't show you 500hp-- at least not more than a few times without turning into a grenade (just my belief).

For 500hp, I'd go with a 64mm-66mm class turbo if you are staying with single turbos (I'm assuming no twins). Bigger housing will make it easier to make the number, but the lag might make towing tough or impossible. Try a "14" housing (whatever the heck that means).

I'm toying with trying a Garrett GT4088-- somewhat laggy, but should pull really strong up top. I don't tow much at all, but I'd like to be able to pull small loads with the need arises, so I'll have to see if this is realistically an option.

For more than a quick flash over 500, you'll want to consider a cam and some airflow enhancement (porting perhaps).

I know of a local truck that made 620hp on a dyno with the following:
aurora 5000 turbo
huge injectors
edge drag comp box
hot rod vp44
fass pump
the engine is stock inside meaning NO cam, springs, head work

496/989 with Stg 5 Jammers, PS62, and a Van AAken TST Comp stack, 511/1166 with Mach 6s Drag Comp and the same PS62, Now I have a Silver Bullet, ARP studs,Cometic head gasket, Mach 6s, Van Aaken and a TST PM3, so we will see what she does now, so far the first combo was sweet, that 496/989 was an awesome daily driven combo, it was even nastier when I added my Catcher to the mix and removed the Van Aaken, dont really worry about the hp to the grown, its all about driveability, a laggy smoky daily driven truck is no fun, good luck.

Its easy to hit 500hp with one of these trucks, just ask some of the experts around here who will tell ya their truck only needs this and that to hit 500...

Or you can ask the guys who have been trying for 2 years to break 500hp and can only get within 3hp of it how hard and expensive it is

Yes there are several of us with BBS I think I'm just a good dyno run away, for for now I'll just be happy with my 400ish hp truck.

Powermad, you might want to look into some studs or having your head o-ringed before playing with drugs.

I know I stuggled with reaching 500hp. Playing with the Smarty and setting the wastegate was the biggest issues I faced.

I made my best HP with around 46-48 lbs of boost using a boost elbow. When I dyno'd with the wastegate set to HTT specs (40 lbs) it made 475.

Call Turbonetics and get a price on upgrading your Jammer BB to a T-61.

i agree call turbonetics. but the wheel on the t-61 is not what you want the one to talk to them about would be the t-66 is by far a better wheel.
