I do have a high output pump, and it is the originall. What are your opinions on switching to the mechanical p-pump, seems to be much more relaible. I know it is a costly conversion, but maybe it would be a good, reliable thing to do...

Didn't mean to offend the guys who run jammers, no doubt they will flow a lot of fuel, however they are a pretty dirty injector. Not to mention you're stock injectors won't be perfectly balanced like a good set of aftermarket injectors. F1's and DDP's will make more power with less smoke, however you are going to spend a pretty penny for them. I found a good deal on a used set, just keep an eye out on the classifieds.

I totally agree. lol the jammers are not efficent, run hotter, etc etc. But these newbies that come on here askin for smoke on the cheap, that is the way to go. I remember back when i was like that, and i did run a set of jammer 4's. Made decent power and smoked like a train. I loved them

Come on, we were just pokin fun. If I was in college right now, I definitely wouldn't be driving a diesel unless I was running off of free vegetable oil.

Been there, done that, lost the ribbon...
Seriously though, When I was in college, (I tried) my truck sat more than it ran because I couldn't afford it. I was nice to look at but that was about it.
